The trout was amazing!!! A huge piece too!!! I absolutely LOVE thier fried chicken! Not over breaded or greasy. Perfection! And the pan fried cornbread 💗

If you like flies Landing in your food this is a great place to eat, the service is great but I'm not joking about the Flies there's one waitress that works there her name is Diane she is a sweetheart she goes out of her way to make it right but I've literally had other waitresses come and smash flies on my table why I was eating and no I did not pay for my meal I raise hell and left

Found this place on the way back to Winston Salem from the Outer Banks. Glad I did, food was excellent. Fried pork tenderloin with onion gravy was delicious. friendly waitresses lots of friendly old folks sitting around me.

Was visiting Family in town. Took the wife to Griffins and we loved the food. Loved the people and the felt like a place in my hometown in New Jersey. We come to visit, this is the place go.

The service was great! Food delivery was quick! I got the baked chicken, collards, and rutabagas .. looking at the menu .. some tasty country cooking !!

Very, very good tasting food. Suggestion would be small plate ,at less price & large plates. Was too much food for 83 year old lady. Hostess, waitress very good. Be back soon.

No fast service. The ladies hustle hard. Place needs a thorough detail cleaning and maintain the integrity of all the art on the wall.

I'm new in town so I wanted to see what all the hub bub was the traffic in and out was too many to ignore. I went inside only to meet the owners. NC know how to appreciate the mom's and pop's establishment that is lacking every State I've ever visited.

Good, affordable country cooking. You'll be in and out of there in 20 minutes, with a full belly. Highly recommend.

The sides are great, hush puppies and flat fried cornbread. Love the corn nuggets too, kinda sweet but good. Hamburger steak needed some seasoning though.

Went to Griffins this morning wanted pancakes for breakfast!!! Got myself seated waited waited for a waitress no one came to see what i wanted for 8 minutes!!! Mine you now they were not busy at all i saw one table with four people eating breakfast!!!!! They never even spoke to me one waitress was standing there talking to a lady i ask may i sit over here it was a booth!! She said sit anywhere you like...so i did.....when she quit talking to the lady she went to kitchen!!! Buck was at front when i got up to leave i said no one will wait on me i am leaving...! He said no wait i said no i am out of here!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! AND I DONT THINK THEY CARE EITHER!!!!!! NOT A GOOD WAY TO START A DAY!!!!

Food wasn't hot and service was shotty. Seems like a nice old fashioned restaurant but still has the old racist restaraunt feel as well.

Eally fine country cooking. Staff members make you feel at ease and it's a place you can be at ease in when you bring the family. The young waitress went out of her way to serve ALL OF her customers and was one of the best we've encountered anywhere! Good food - good staff....what more could you want

Wonderful atmosphere with great food. If you want a home cooked meal that you did not have to cook, Griffin's Quick Lunch is the place. The desserts are delicious. I had the blueberry yum yum dessert, it is simply to live for.

This place is my favorite restaurant to go to. This place makes Williamston a lot better. The employees are friendly and they strive to make the food good, and I enjoy it there. And after you finish, there is always a perfect place to hang out in, both inside and out. A awesome addition that you cannot miss. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great home cooking for real. Great service, great food and a great small town atmosphere. We found this place about a week ago and are already regulars. We are new to the area and the folks at this restaurant have connected us to the community. We love it and will be back often. Don't miss out on food cooked by people who love what they do. No preprepared food here. Love the yams, collard greens, rutabaga, desserts, hush puppies, and any of the daily specials.

the food here is awesome i love what the new owners have done with the place. plus they are very very friendly and even crack a few jokes here and there while you wait for your food, beautiful paintings of all the historic areas in the county. plus they even have handmade dessert. i recommend you try the peanut butter fudge. Quansha always brings life to the atmosphere.
